The (AU) Brand, was inspired by "AGirLNameOmar" pictured here, and is the brainchild of Reggae-Fusion singer Diana King.
In 2016, King adopted baby girl Omar at 2 months old. She was later diagnosed at 2 1/2 years old as non-verbal on the Autism Spectrum and would need special care and attention.
As a parent who ia also on the spectrum and a part of the LGBTQ+ community this brand represents us. The journey has truly been a blessing. Omar is a magical being who brings pure J(AU)Y to the lives of the entire family.
Our logo is designed using the 'AU' from the word Autism, hugged by the parentheses. We honor Omar as we spread positive (AU)warenesss with every piece of merchandise. This is a labour of love and pure support as we lift up & celebrate the diagnosed, the undiagnosed, their parents, their caregivers, loved ones, teachers and friends.
